Eric LaRose

Change is the only constant in life. I’d like to say I invented that phrase (I didn’t, it was Heraclitus), but I have definitely lived it. A natural storyteller, when I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I thought that would be my career forever — telling stories.

The industry changed, as did I. Fascinated with the tech side of things, I moved into web design and optimization, multimedia production, project management and ultimately marketing. I left journalism, went into higher education marketing, received an MBA from Lakeland College, and eventually transitioned to a leadership role in a sales and marketing firm. One would think I abandoned the art of storytelling, but I haven’t. At Blue Door Consulting, my primary objective is to tell your story by employing the latest in marketing technologies and techniques.

When not helping clients develop their brands and optimize marketing strategies, I live in Grafton, Wisconsin, with my lovely wife and our two dogs. The lesson I’ve learned is that while change is a constant, embracing change sets one on a really rewarding journey.
