Heather Scott

I’ve always been an avid collector. My parents were teachers, and every summer we’d pack up the car and head for a new destination. On our return trips, I’d spend hours sorting through fistfuls of shiny rocks, driftwood and gas station postcards — cataloging each trinket and scribbling stories about our adventures in a stack of notebooks.

This passion followed me to college, where I earned a B.A. in writing and photography from the University of Minnesota Moorhead. It’s also shaped my professional path, as a content creator, strategist and consultant. Over the past two decades, I’ve written for newspapers, edited magazines and been on-staff with consumer brands and Fortune 500 companies. I love helping clients find their “why,” building content solutions, researching data and deploying content marketing and SEO strategies that engage and empower audiences.

When not at my desk, you’ll find me outside biking, hiking or battling weeds in our backyard garden. When Mother Nature is uncooperative, I love watching movies with my family, cooking, getting lost in research rabbit holes, hunting for concert tickets and plotting our next big trip.
