More About Melissa

My career path has been a journey of curating different experiences. I’m an explorer by nature who loves to learn as much as possible about any topic at hand. I find most things phenomenally interesting and love applying those lessons learned across the spectrum of my experience. As a younger person, I explored a range of fields before arriving at two BAs from Ripon College: one in communications and one in in politics. I went on to receive my MA from Colorado State University in communication.

Throughout my marketing career, I’ve been able to lean into various industries such as higher education, food and beverage and non-profit. I’ve worn many hats ranging from advocacy to donor development to strategic planning. I’ve learned that I love figuring out the root cause and psychology behind pain points and building robust strategic solutions to deliver successful results for clients.

I’m a proud mom of three, a daughter and two sons. They’re my life purpose and my “why” for all I do. There’s no where I would rather be than in the company of my small and mighty tribe. Outside of work and family, I love being lost in the woods foraging for mushrooms and other plants. I enjoy cooking, watching movies, playing board games with my family and traveling anywhere.
