Mike Dockum

I nurture a deep and abiding passion for the science and art of communication. It drove my pursuit of multiple degrees from the University of Illinois and even took me to the other side of the world to explore how it varies in foreign cultures. As a professional, I put my passion to work for clients to help them align their brands with the expectations of their audiences. I love planning, executing and analyzing primary audience research and then carefully crafting persuasive brand and message strategies for optimal impact on measurable top-line growth. I’ve always been a curious person, so I feel naturally drawn to agency life because of the opportunities it presents to learn and assimilate new industries.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me somewhere outdoors. I’ve got three kids who adore playing sports, and I’ve fulfilled just about every imaginable support role in that realm – from spectator to coach to commissioner. I’ve even had to jump in and officiate on a few desperate occasions. When I want to indulge some more selfish ambitions, I’ll find a pick-up game of ultimate frisbee or head to a Wisconsin state park for hiking, camping and/or birding.
